A warm, fruity dessert featuring sweet blackberries and tender apples, topped with a cinnamon-spiced, gluten-free oat and almond crumble. Perfect for gluten-sensitive dessert lovers, it's simple, delicious, and great with ice cream or whipped cream!

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples using a vegetable peeler or sharp knife. Cut and measure the apples by placing them directly into the tray, adjusting the amount to fit your recipe.

  3. Place freshly cut apples and juicy blackberries in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for approximately 4-5 minutes, or until the apples become tender and the blackberries release their vibrant juices. Cooking time may vary depending on the quantity in the bowl.

  5. Gather all the main ingredients in a bowl, then cut the vegan block into small, square pieces. Once everything is in the bowl, gently mix with your fingertips until the texture resembles the one shown below.

  7. After mixing the main ingredients, evenly spread the mixture over the blackberry and apple layer in the dish.

  9. For an extra touch of flavor (optional), add cinnamon a handful of ground almonds or rolled oats, either during the mixing process or sprinkled on top. Finish with a light dusting of brown sugar for a sweet, golden crust.
