Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 210℃ Fan (410℉).

  2. Pour a small amount of sunflower oil into each section of a Yorkshire pudding or muffin tray, ensuring you coat both the sides and the bottom evenly, as shown below and put the baking tray in the oven.

  4. The hotter the tray, the better your Yorkshire puddings will turn out. Make sure to preheat the baking tray in the oven for at least 15 minutes before pouring in the batter.

  12. To get the Yorkshire puddings even more fluffy, use electric whisks!

  14. Pour the mixture into a jug. Without pulling the tray out of the oven (which is crucial), carefully pour the mixture into the hot trays. Try to keep the oven door open for the shortest time possible, as the Yorkshire puddings will rise more if the oven remains closed.

  16. Bake the Yorkshire puddings for 20-25 minutes. After 15 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 190°C Fan, but resist the urge to open the oven door, as this can prevent them from rising to perfection.

  17. Enjoy!
