If you're craving that classic garlic bread flavor but need to skip the gluten and dairy, we’ve got you covered! Our version of garlic bread is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with that delicious, garlicky goodness we all love—without any of the stuff you’re avoiding. Made with a gluten-free bread base and topped with a buttery (dairy-free, of course!) garlic spread, it's perfect for pairing with pasta, soups, or just enjoying on its own. Simple, flavorful, and allergy-friendly.

Ingreidents

  • Vegan Block (Hard Plant based Margerine, but soft works too) - 100g | 1/2 Cups   Why Hard Based Margerine?

  • Olive oil (Good quality olive oil, if available) - 1 Tbsp

  • Garlic - 3 Cloves

  • Parsley (or mixed herbs if parsley isn’t available) - small handful of fresh parsley or 1 tsp of dried mixed herbs

  • Gluten-Free Bread (Ciabatta rolls work best for garlic bread, in my opinion)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C Fan (392°F).

  2. Chop the butter into small cubes and combine it with the olive oil. Use a fork to mash and mix them together until the mixture is smooth and well-blended.

  4. Use a garlic press to crush the garlic into the bowl. If you don’t have a garlic press, simply mince the garlic with a knife and add it to the bowl. Next, chop the parsley and mix it in. If you don’t have parsley, you can substitute with mixed dried herbs.

  6. Cut the bread, then spread the garlic butter evenly over each piece. You can either wrap the bread individually in tin foil and bake it in the oven, or place it directly in a pan without foil. Both methods work wonderfully!

  8. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. For extra crispiness, I like to finish it off by quickly placing it in the grill. However, it still tastes great straight out of the oven!
